Can you do a full bleed image across both spreads - I wrote a story where the main character is writing in their journal : on those pages I want the reader to feel like they are holding that journal with its sketches

Thanks, Jared, a really excellent overview and tutorial. I completed the book in LR Book module but in try!ng to upload to Blur the uploading is stopped and I get an error message. Have you experience of this? Could the problem be that it's too big to upload at 82 pages with 80 photos?

Can I change the orientation or size of the book? I want my pictures to fill the whole page but they only fill half because they are in landscape not portrait. And when BookWright updated the other day various things changed, like when you use the rotate button it crops your image. And as others have asked on the 'covers' video, how do you put text on the spine? Thanks.

I have figured out how to keep the squirrels out of bird feeders. I will send a photo of my feeding stations if you wish. Still working on keeping Black Bears from destroying the feeding stations. Currently removing the feeders at sunset since they come in after dark. Any non lethal suggestions welcomed. :)

Great series. I’ve been making Blurb books for almost 15 years. As a Bookwright user, I appreciated some of the tips and hacks you showed. I only wish that Blurb had a 16:9 aspect ratio format for books though.

Congratulations. I only work with Camera Raw and Photoshop. I don´t know Lightroom. I am working selecting pictures in a windows path. I have understood your good explanations. Now , these are my questions: 1.- How to send my selected pictures to Lightroom-Blurb easily 2.- Blurb: Is it possible an automatic index in the first page? (Page number and picture title). Good luck when you go to page 11 to insert the next chapter and get hit with approximately 43 error messages. Worst program ever. Just make it so that what you do at the 43 second mark (select containers) can be copied through all the 'blank pages.' It's so frustrating that there is no way to make this thing work other than creating one gigantic rtf with all chapters.

Once again, I clicked on this video to learn how to do it and you talked about books not telling me anything I didn’t already know, and not what I wanted to know.

Comments all over the internet for years trying to get Blurb to explain their colour profiling process and what happens between software like lightroom and photoshop and what Blurb does to the colours. Even in these 6 plus videos it’s totally ignored. This seems extraordinary. The book in this example was near $300 for 1 book, and yet no information about the colour space or how to maximise quality for print. That’s a lot of money if the colours aren’t what you photographed / worked on in your calibrated monitor and software.

I was surprised to see the colour space as SRGB given it’s going to print. I assume the photos and monitors would be profiled to RGB particularly AdobeRGB. Wouldn’t this method lose a lot of the colours within the images ? I know Blurb don’t answer here but perhaps a visitor might know, thank you.

Installed it for InDesign 2024. Blurb is in the Plugins folder for InDesign, but it doesn't show up in File menu. Oh wel
